Jala Neti Protocol:
Preparation: Mix 500ml of lukewarm, sterilised (boiled and cooled) water with 1 teaspoon of non-iodised salt in a Neti pot.
1. Position: Lean forward over a basin. Tilt your head sideways so one nostril is directly above the other.
2. Pour: Insert the spout snugly into the upper nostril. Open your mouth wide and breathe exclusively through it.
3. Flow: Tip the pot so water flows into the upper nostril and drains out the lower one. Use half the pot.
4. Switch: Remove the pot, gently blow out residual water, and repeat on the other side.
5. Drying (Crucial): Bend forward and exhale vigorously through both nostrils (like Kapalabhati) in multiple directions (head down, left, right) until the nasal passages are completely dry. Then perform morning Nasya.
