Kumkumadi oil takes its name from kumkuma, the Sanskrit word for saffron. Families in India have used it as a nightly face ritual for generations.

Two or three drops each evening is enough. Warm the oil between your fingertips, press it into your face and neck, and let it soak in while you sleep. In the morning your skin feels soft and smooth, with a healthy glow.

How to use

Wash your face and pat it dry.
Put 2 to 3 drops on your fingertips.
Massage into your face and neck with slow upward strokes until the oil soaks in.
Use in the evening and leave it on overnight.

Safety & Precautions

For external use only.
Keep away from your eyes. If oil gets in, rinse with cool water.
Patch test first: put one drop inside your forearm and wait 24 hours.
Stop using it if you notice redness, itching or irritation.
Don’t apply to broken, cut or sunburnt skin.
Pregnant or breastfeeding? Ask your health professional before use.
Saffron and manjistha can stain pale pillowcases and fabric.
Keep out of reach of children.

Certificate + Authenticity

To verify that a herb is authentic it is issued with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) which contains tests (heavy metals/safety/identification) done on every batch of herb manufacturing. E.g Amla COA or Ashwagandha COA. COAs for every herb are available via email request.

Please note shilajit cannot be claimed as organic as it's not cultivated by humans, it's extracted from special shilajit rocks which is only produced by nature. Shilajit can only be tested for heavy metals which we have done in a Eurofins Laboratory (document is available here)

Will it stain my pillowcase?

It can. Saffron and the other herbs give the oil a deep colour that can mark pale fabric. Give the oil a few minutes to soak in before bed, or use a dark pillowcase.
